December 1

Morning

A man will be as a hiding place from
the wind, and a cover from the tempest.

Inasmuch … as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same. § “The Man who is My Companion,” says the Lord of hosts. § I and My Father are one.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. § There will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm, and rain. § The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

When my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. § You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble. § You have been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; for the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Evening

Behold, I create new heavens and a new earth.

The new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before Me … So shall your descendants and your name remain.

We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.”
