“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and the Word was with God…The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1, 14

We must come to God through Jesus Christ or we don’t come at all.  The Bible says emphatically in Acts 4:12 that “salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved”.  Just the name Jesus!  And Who is Jesus?  He is the overflow of God’s Heart.  He is the Living Word of God.  God Himself made visible to all—revealed in His Word!

Thank you for seeking information about a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ — a relationship that will give you eternal security and confidence at the very moment you see Him face to face.  It is my privilege to share how to make sure you are ready to meet Jesus

Confess to God you are a sinner…

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).
…Name specific sins as well as the general sin of not having a right relationship with Him.

Repent of your sin…

…which simply means that you are willing to stop sinning and turn away from it with His help. (Mark 1:15)

Ask God to cleanse and forgive you…

…of your sin through the blood of Jesus Christ (God’s Living Word) at the cross. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

Invite Jesus to come into your life as Savior…

…taking control of your life as Lord. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and live with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)

Thank Him by faith…

…for having now done what you have asked Him to do above. “As many as received Jesus, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12) “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

If you believe the scripture you just read, you can pray this simple prayer by faith:

Dear God,

I come to the cross by faith in Your word, confessing to You that I’m a sinner. I’m sorry for my sin. I believe Jesus died as Your sacrifice for my sin. I’m willing to turn away from my sin. I ask you to forgive me in His name and to cleanse me of all of my sin…past, present, and future…with His blood. Take away my shame and my guilt. And I believe He rose from the dead to give me eternal life, opening Heaven for me. I ask You to not only forgive me, but to give me eternal life in His name. I open up my heart and invite Jesus to come live inside of me in the person of the Holy Spirit.  I surrender to Him the control of my life.   I choose this day to start living for You.

Thank You for hearing my prayer. Thank You for answering my prayer. Thank you for giving me Jesus!

If you’ve just prayed this prayer in your heart, we’d love to hear from you! Drop us a note at
