Morning

I have seen his ways, and will heal him.

I am the Lord who heals you.

Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. § You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your countenance. § All things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord, “though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” § He is gracious to him, and says, “Deliver him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom.” § He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. § He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted. § Your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.

Evening

The Lord is for me.

May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; may the name of the God of Jacob defend you; may He send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion … We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners! … Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; but we have risen and stand upright.

When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. § No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

If God is for us, who can be against us? § The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.

Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us, … and He will deliver us.
