March 27

Morning

He who sows righteousness will have a sure reward.

After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, “Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.” His lord said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.”

We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.

Evening

God is faithful.

God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? § The Lord has sworn and will not relent.

God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. § Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day. § He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. § All the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
