November 23

Morning

Whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
and will be secure, without fear of evil.

Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. § He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty … His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

Your life is hidden with Christ in God. § He who touches you touches the apple of His eye. § Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord … The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. § God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear.

Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” § “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” § I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.

Evening

My kingdom is not from here.

This Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. § Hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.

He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.

Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. § He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. § He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
