Morning
On the likeness of the throne was a likeness with
the appearance of a man high above it.
The Man Christ Jesus. § [Jesus came] in the likeness of men. [He was] found in appearance as a man. § Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death.
I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. § Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. § What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? § He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places. § In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
Though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God.
For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God.

Evening
For Your word has given me life.
The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
The Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. § I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men … As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. § For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of the soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
