This Christmas…

What gift will you give the King this year for his birthday?

I have a couple of suggestions for you…

“On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. ”  – Matthew 2:11

This Christmas…Give the gift of HOPE!

Join with me in celebrating the real meaning of Christmas! It is the incarnation of God in the person of Jesus Christ. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…And the Word became flesh…” (John 1:1, 14) This year, as we struggle with inflation, fear, violence, corruption, chaos, confusion, disease, disasters, and death, our friends, family and our world desperately need Hope. So please. Give them Jesus, the Living Word who is revealed in the written Word…the only Hope for our world.

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” – Revelation 22:17

Years ago, I received the following very special invitation which I want to share this Christmas with you. From my family to yours…

A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Guest of Honor:   the Lord of lords and King of kings, Jesus Christ (He was a baby, but He’s grown up now.)

Date:   Today (and everyday). Traditionally the celebration is December 25th, but He’s always around, so the date is flexible.

Time:   Whenever you’re ready (please don’t be too late, though, or the doors may close and you’ll miss out.)

Place: In your heart…He’ll meet you there. (You’ll hear Him knock.)

Attire: Come as you are…grubbies and sweats are okay. He’ll be washing our clothes anyway, and He said something about new white robes and crowns for everyone.

Tickets: Admission is free!  He’s already paid for everyone (He says we wouldn’t have been able to afford it…it’s cost Him everything He had.)

Refreshments: New wine, bread, and an exclusive drink He calls “living water”(It’s not available anywhere else. He is the only source for it)…followed by a supper that promises to be “out of this world.”

Gift Suggestions: Your heart. He’s one of those people who “already has everything” else. (He’s very generous in return though…just wait until you see what He has for you!)

Entertainment: The Hallelujah Chorus, plus new songs never heard before sung by thousands upon thousands, millions upon millions of angels joined by others who have accepted this invitation and are already at the Celebration.

Party Favors: Joy, Peace, Truth, Light, Life, Love, Real Happiness, Communion with God, Forgiveness, Contentment, Miracles, Healing, Power, Eternity in Paradise, and much more!
