What gift will you give the King this year for his birthday? Because it’s rather late in the season, I have a couple of suggestions for you…
On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Guest of Honor: the Lord of lords and King of kings, Jesus Christ (He was a baby, but He’s grown up now.)
Date: Today (and everyday). Traditionally the celebration is December 25th, but He’s always around, so the date is flexible.
Time: Whenever you’re ready (please don’t be too late, though, or the doors may close and you’ll miss out.)
Place: In your heart…He’ll meet you there. (You’ll hear Him knock.)
Attire: Come as you are…grubbies and sweats are okay. He’ll be washing our clothes anyway, and He said something about new white robes and crowns for everyone.
Tickets: Admission is free! He’s already paid for everyone (He says we wouldn’t have been able to afford it…it’s cost Him everything He had.)
Refreshments: New wine, bread, and an exclusive drink He calls “living water”(It’s not available anywhere else. He is the only source for it)…followed by a supper that promises to be “out of this world.”
Gift Suggestions: Your heart. He’s one of those people who “already has everything” else. (He’s very generous in return though…just wait until you see what He has for you!)
Entertainment: The Hallelujah Chorus, plus new songs never heard before sung by thousands upon thousands, millions upon millions of angels joined by others who have accepted this invitation and are already at the Celebration.
Party Favors: Joy, Peace, Truth, Light, Life, Love, Real Happiness, Communion with God, Forgiveness, Contentment, Miracles, Healing, Power, Eternity in Paradise, and much more!

Share the Good News!
Two thousand years ago, an angel appeared to the shepherds and announced: I bring you good news of great joy…a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord. The angel was joined by a host of other angels, proclaiming: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace… The shepherds then hurried off to find the baby lying in a manger. The Bible says, When they had seen Him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child.
This Christmas, let’s spread the word to the family and friends we love! In these troubled times, join with the angels in sharing the good news that Jesus has come to offer peace. (Luke 2:10,11, 14, 17)
